WHO IS AWTA?
Awta is an artist of many talents. Born and bred in Paris, the US-based singer, songwriter and producer has developed a unique sound over the years that has garnered the attention of many. After picking up the guitar and moving to London in 2016, the self-taught chanteuse started writing songs that recounted her life and personal moments that uniquely shaped her. Nourished by a desire to share her story and connect with people with similar experiences, she made her debut in iconic London music venues such as The Troubadour and the Jazz Cafe where she performed with her blue telecaster guitar and experimented with her sound. Naturally, she got into music and vocal production and, for the first time ever, gave life to the sounds she imagined. Today, years after she first stepped into the music industry, Awta is set to take the world by storm with her trailblazing sound and her powerful lyrics.
